Sunday School:

"Let the Lord dwell in you richly, as you teach and admonish one another."
Colossians 3:16

Through scripture study, we grow and are given a better understanding of the essential tenets of our reformed faith. We need to be reminded of these tenets to remain faithful to God in our mission. We will continue to be led by the Spirit, live with Christ in our hearts and follow the Holy Scripture given by God for our lives.

"Let your roots grow down into Christ and draw up nourishment from Him. See that you go on growing in the Lord, and become strong and vigorous in the truth." Colossians 2:7

Young Child in Worship(age 4 - 2nd grade) provides an opportunity for children to experience God through an age appropriate and multi-sensory worship service. The wooden figures, desert box and other materials create a visual representation of the Bible. The lighting of candles and discussion of other church traditions introduce children to the meaning of many of the symbols they see in the sanctuary. The hands-on experience of the children retelling the stories by manipulating the figures helps the Bible lessons take shape in their minds and hearts.

We enjoy studying the Bible and we use the curriculum This Present Word. The class also supports various mission projects..
This class had its beginning in 1948. Rev. J. Robert Henderson, Pastor Emeritus, suggested the name. The initials stand for Elfinwild Young Adult Bible Class, slightly scrambled. Reverend Henderson was our first teacher. We are older now, but enjoy the study of the Bible. We use the curriculum This Present Word. The class also supports various mission projects. In addition we have social gatherings during the year and enjoy the fun and fellowship.

It is a Bible study and in the fall the book of Acts will be studied. Although the Kennedy Class has been a women’s class. ALL adults are welcome.
