Dr. Dirk Lesnett:
|
 Dr.
Dirk Lesnett became the fourth pastor of Elfinwild
in January 2004. Dirk grew up in Upper St. Clair.
He has a degree in Business Administration from
Grove City, a Masters of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell
Seminary in Massachuetts, and his Doctor of
Ministry degree from Columbia Theological Seminary.
Dirk and his wife, Van, have been married for
14 years and have four children: Matthew, Andrew,
Virginia and Peter. He enjoys coaching baseball
during the summer months. Dirk has traveled
on mission trips to Malawi with the Pittsburgh
Presbytery and educational trips to Israel.
He and Van took Matthew on his first mission
trip to serve the poor in West Virginia before
Matthew could even walk. |
Student Minister: Bob Wegner |
Bob graduated from Geneva College with
a Bachelor’s degree in Community Ministry.
He served as the Director of Student Ministries
at Beulah Presbyterian Church after a two year
internship. Bob’s heart is to “genuinely
and effectively reach all people with the Truth
of Jesus Christ through God’s Word, relationships…bible
study, example, discipleship.” Bob is
a singer and songwriter and has a professionally
recorded CD of his original compositions. He
has a devotion to Christ, a love for his students,
and a heart for mission. He also loves spending
time with his wife Lisa and their daughter Ivy.

Carolyn Hervey: |
 Carolyn
has been Director of the Elfinwild Preschool
for over 23 years. She received her BS from
Indiana University, Pa. and her Masters in Education
from California State University, Long Beach.
Carolyn and her husband, Doug, have two grown
children and four grandchildren. She enjoys
spending time with her family and reading biographies. |
Nancy Tiernan: |
 Nancy
received her BA from Ohio University and has
been a member of Elfinwild for over 36 years.
She has served as Director of Children Ministries
for over 13 years. She and her husband, Dave,
have two grown children. Nancy is a talented
artist and enjoys rug hooking in her spare
time.

John Dyke:
John is our new Director of Music
Ministry. John comes to us from the North
Warren Presbyterian Church, where he has been
organist and music director for over 26 years.
John was born in meadville, Pa but spent most
of his life in Warren. He received his Bachelor
of Music Education from Indiana University
in Bloomington, Indiana. He has been married
to Martha for 31 years and they have four
daughters-Rebeccca, Anna, Sarah, & Rachel.

Dana Wilmot |
Dana joined the staff on June 1, 2007
as a part-time Ministerial Assistant. He is
a full-time Master of Divinity student at the
Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, and plans to
graduate in May 2009. Dana works part-time in
the Development Office at the seminary. He is
married to Jennie and they have a daughter,
Erin who will be starting her junior year at
Michigan State this fall. Their oldest daughter,
Lauren died in a car accident four years ago
at the age of 18.
