NEW MEN'S LEADERSHIP GROUPS STARTING
All men are invited to participate in two-year experience
developed by Christian Leadership Concepts. The curriculum
is an intense program designed to equip men to initiate and
lead for Christ at home, in the church, in the community,
and in the marketplace. Men will meet in groups of twelve
on Saturday mornings. If you are interested in this opportunity
for growth, please contact any of the following men: Bob Magill,
Mike Gaydos, Steve Heere, or Mark Feris.
NEW - FAMILY MINISTRY TEAM
We have a new ministry team concerned with family life.
Events they will oversee are the preparations for the All-Church
Family Retreat, the Advent Outreach, Advent Wreath Making
and Rally Day. Topics will include how we can support and
nurture families in Jesus Christ. Come join the discussion.
The only prerequisite is a desire to build your relationship
with the Lord. For more information call Patti Robinsaon or
Nancy Tiernan through the Church Office. Meetings will be
announced.
Fellowship and Praise Ministry
The Christians of the first century church, "devoted
themselves to the apostles teaching and to the fellowship,
to the breaking of the bread prayer" Acts 3:42. They
did things together, praised God, interceded for each other,
and helped one another. We are committed to all four of these,
and one we are looking forward to grow is intercessory prayer
for our church and community.
Prayer, individually and group, is essential for a church
to grow spiritually and to remain in the will of God. This
ministry must involve, many persons, even those who feel uncomfortable
praying in groups. Part of our getting together will be asking
the Lord to guide and teach us how to pray.
This ministry will meet the first Sunday of each month
at 6:00 PM in the sanctuary. Prayer stimulates the spiritual
life of the church. If you have any questions call David Frazier
by calling Church Office 1-412-486-5400.
