Matthew 5:43-45 - “[Love for Enemies] "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.” Brought to you by BibleGateway.com. Copyright (C) NIV. All Rights Reserved.

Wednesdays in Fellowship Hall
February 17th – March 31st
6:00-6:30 – Dinner
6:30-7:30 – Study
Dr. Dirk Lesnett will be leading a Lenten study based on Wrestling With Angels; An Intimate Look at the Tough Questions of Life. This study is an honest look at life‘s deepest struggles and what God has for us when we face these tough issues and situations. Through compelling conversation and the study of God‘s Word we will be pointed toward a new process rather than more easy answers. A Pot-Luck supper will be served at 6:00.The study will follow at 6:30.
It warms the heart and body to break bread and study the Word of God together as we travel through the Lenten season. Consider sharing a favorite recipe and great conversation. Sign-up for a week or two and let us know what you would like to bring.

Wanted - Pie Auction Donations!!

Student Ministries is looking for donations of pies and services/goods to be auctioned off at the March Pie Auction.  Services in the past have been such things as a furnace check up or tickets to a Steeler's game.  If anyone would like to contribute anything to aid our Student Ministry Fundraiser please contact Kyle Pinta at 412 487 6163 or kjpinta@aol.com

Bread of Life Donations

For January, the Deacons will again be focusing on donations of potato and rice products for the Bread of Life Food Pantry. It is early December as I write this notice. Yesterday, a local church brought 20+ large boxes of food that they had collected and assembled to the school where I work to be given to some of our needy families. Today, several of the families that were called came to pick up their boxes. Their faces were smiling and their hearts were grateful as we helped them take the boxes to their cars. One mother said, “God always shows up on time.” Another said, “I hope next year I can be the one helping.” The December 5 meditation from The Upper Room puts it this way: “Our abundance can supply what another needs.” Please help us as we try to help our local pantry. Donations can be brought to the church the first 3 Sundays of January. They will be delivered to the Bread of Life Pantry the last week of the month.
